The JOSEPH RUFINO CORDEIRO FOUNDATION (“JRCF”) was conceived on 5th December 2020, one month before Joseph Rufino Cordeiro (“Rufino”) passed away. Lira, his wife and Lucinda and Mary Anne, his daughters were present to celebrate the occasion.

As a scientist and aesthete throughout his life, Rufino encouraged a profound interest in the Sciences and the Arts and in particular scientific research and creative development for the improved welfare of all.

It is therefore entirely appropriate that we created a long-lasting, deep-rooted legacy through the foundation of JRCF. We promote these disciplines and projects in the hope that it will inspire the next generation to build a better world for future generations.
